Issuer: Reserve Bank of India

Exchange Rate Regime: Fixed rate of exchange against the Pound Sterling, at the rate equivalent to 0.186621 grams of fine gold per Rupee.

Exchange Rate: 13.3333 Rupees per Sterling Pound

Duration of circulation: 1950 to 1959.

Currency denominations: One-Hundred Rupees, Fifty Rupees, Ten Rupees,  Five Rupees, and One Rupee.
