I am pleased to introduce the redesigned website of Qatar Central Bank (QCB). The new site provides its visitors with a wide range of information, data, and analyses that cover the various activities conducted by QCB.
The site provides the concerned parties with substantial information and explanations related to policies adopted by QCB, exchange rate policy, monetary, supervision and other policies and instructions pertaining to the financial sector.
The site, also, presents comprehensive and historical database covering the monetary and banking sector.
Moreover, the site contains momentous information on QCB payment
systems, public debt and policies and indicators of financial stability in the State of Qatar. QCB publications, such as annual reports, statistical bulletins, current news and events in the financial and economic arena, are also conveniently available online.
In our endeavor to protect consumers' rights, enhance the quality of banking and financial services and establish proper communication channels with financial market customers, we have established an online customers’ suggestions and complaint system, which enables customers to directly express their concerns, complaints and suggestions to QCB. Accordingly, QCB will investigate and take appropriate actions.
