Overview 

Qatar Central Bank is the regulatory authority for banks, exchange houses, investment companies, and financial companies within the State of Qatar. If you have a complaint regarding any of such institutions, we may be able to help you.



QCB can assist you by investigating complaints against financial institutions under its supervision. Nevertheless, before writing to us, we would urge you to discuss and write about the problem and try to settle it with the concerned financial institution. If the problem remains unresolved, you may submit your complaint form along with copies of relevant documents, if any.



It would be QCB’s endeavor to try and resolve the problem within 7 working days. We will contact the financial institution about your concern, investigate the issues raised and try to solve your problem. However, it should be noted that QCB do not/may not have enough legal authority to resolve all types of problems; in which case we will advise you with any other available alternatives.



Complainants are requested to note down the system-generated number of their complaint for future reference.

Complaint Procedures


  1. 1.Customer must write to their bank/institution explaining the problem and copy to QCB (Consumer Protection).

  2. 2.Writing directly if the problem is not solved within one week.
