Mr. Jassim Al-Baker, Chairman of the Qatar Banking Studies and Business Administration School, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al Thani, Head of the Legal Consultations Department in Qatar Central Bank, Mr. Ahmed Youssef Al-Mahmoud and Mrs. Dhaba Al-Buainain, Directors of Qatar Banking Studies Schools for Girls and Boys opened the sixth employment fair in the presence of Ms. Fawzia Al-Khater, Assistant Undersecretary For educational affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The exhibition was held at Ezdan Palace on November 4, 2019, with the aim of introducing the available job opportunities to the high school students and encouraging them to search for promising job opportunities in financial institutions including banks, investment sector and money management.
His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud Al Thani, Governor of Qatar Central Bank, has stressed in this context that the education of youth is one of his most important things of interest and appreciation, and the presence of experts from Qatar Central Bank in the advisory board of the two schools guarantees continuing support for students and promotion of work.
It is worth noting that the two schools represent a joint initiative between Qatar Central Bank and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Qatar Central Bank employees have played an important role in developing school curricula since the opening of Qatar Banking Studies School for Boys in 2010. Qatar Banking Studies School for Girls opened in 2015. The two schools offer an approach focused on business and financial services and are linked in partnership with a wide range of banking and accounting bodies And asset management. The exhibition was attended by a large number of employers as well as representatives of local and international colleges.
