International Monetary Fund (IMF) has published its concluding statement on the results of Article IV consultation for the State of Qatar for the year 2011. The Statement praised efforts by the Qatari authorities to maintain and support strong growth in the non-hydrocarbon sector in the medium term, in addition to improving the living standards through the implementation of a large program of public spending, which coincides with an increase in oil and gas production and higher prices.
