Qatar Central Bank
In respect of “Mutilated Currency”
Article (31)
The Bank shall issue the appropriate decisions for regulating the exchange of torn, defective and unshaped coins and currency notes.
Article (101)
Whoever disfigures or misshapes the banknotes by cutting, tearing, effacement, punching, writing, printing, drawing, stamping, sticking or adding anything to it, shall be punished with a fine not exceeding (20.000) twenty thousands Qatari Riyals.
