I am pleased to introduce Qatar Central Bank (QCB) World Wide Website, which provides its visitors with a wide range of information, data, and analyses pertaining to the various activities conducted by QCB.

The site provides concerned parties with information and explanation related to policies adopted by QCB—exchange rate, monetary, supervision, and other policies, and regulations.

The site, also, presents a comprehensive time series database for the Qatari Economy that extends back to three decades for the main variables, and includes data on the monetary and banking sector, national accounts, fiscal and external sectors, and population.

The site also contains important information on, QCB payment system, public debt, and policies and indicators of financial stability. QCB publications, such as Annual Report and Statistical Bulletin, other releases, and current news and events in the financial and economic arena, are also conveniently available online for interested parties.

In our endeavor to protect consumers' rights, enhance the quality of banking services, and in general, to enhance communication with market participants, we equipped the site with an online client complaint system through which customers can directly express their concerns, complaints, and suggestions to QCB. Based on these, QCB would conduct investigation and take appropriate actions.
