Facility Management and Security

The Facility and Security Department primarily focuses on the following tasks and responsibilities: 

The Facility and Security Department primarily focuses on the following tasks and responsibilities: 

1-      Implementing laws, regulations, policies, and bylaws related to facility management and security at QCB.

2-      Identifying and developing the strategy and objectives of Facility Management and Security Department in line with the QCB strategic plan.

3-      Establishing and implementing security and safety rules and procedures at QCB​; to ensure compliance with national security and safety standards. 

4-      Providing maintenance, hospitality, cleaning, security, and transportation services and overseeing these operations.   

5-      Conducting regular maintenance of QCB buildings and facilities; to ensure they meet the national security and safety standards. 

6-      Providing ​and improving hospitality services across ​QCB buildings.  

7-      Enhancing the work environment by ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements. 

8-      Providing necessary security for all ​QCB buildings and facilities, and ensure meeting the highest security standards.  

9-      Securing all withdrawal, deposit, destruction operations, and adhering to security plans in coordination with relevant national authorities. 

10-    Requesting insurance contracts for the QCB's properties and its employees in coordination with relevant Departments. 

11-    Securing  all the access to QCB facilities and movements to critical points. 

12-    Issuing access cards for employees, and entry and exit permits for guests and visitors. 

13-   Operating and maintaining the security control room, monitoring its operation, maintaining security cameras, entry gates, civil defense systems, and alarm systems, and ensuring their functionality.

14-   Providing security supervision for projects and activities conducted in QCB buildings, ensuring their security and compliance with national standards. 

15-    Establishing safety procedures and ensuring the compliance of all employees. 

16-    Preparing the evacuation plan for emergencies or fires, and training employees on how to implement it. 

17-    Ensuring safety equipment meets national approved standards. Conducting regular inspections of safety equipment to ensure maintenance according to national standards. 

18-    Performing regular inspections of QCB buildings and facilities, recording any observations regarding restoration or maintenance requirements, and supervising necessary work. 

19-    Any other tasks and duties assigned to the Department within its scope of responsibility.
