IT plays a crucial role in supporting and providing digital solutions for the Bank's various Departments and Administrative Units.
The IT Department has an essential function in supporting and providing the digital solutions to the operations of Divisions and Units of QCB.
The IT Department's primary tasks and responsibilities include:
1- Implementing laws, regulations, policies, and bylaws related to information technology affairs.
2- Developing policies and procedures for systems, applications, and computer usage in QCB activities and monitoring their implementation.
3- Supervising IT-related projects at the QCB and ensuring their execution in collaboration with the relevant departments and units.
4- Working on developing everything related to information technology, including devices, systems, software, solutions, applications, and offering initiatives and recommendations regarding them.
5- Managing business analysis operations, software development, and contributing to the QCB's Digital Transformation process.
6- Managing the governance of electronic linkage and digital infrastructure with entities under the QCB's supervision and control.
7- Providing and maintaining the necessary hardware, software, and electronic networks for the QCB's automated systems in coordination with the Administrative Units involved in QCB's activities.
8- Implementing information security requirements, electronic crisis and disaster response plans, and protecting systems, devices, and applications from security risks and threats.
9- Providing necessary technical support for users of the QCB's electronic networks and external entities linked to the QCB's systems, and training them on the use of systems, software, computers, and their accessories.
10- Managing and monitoring operational and maintenance activities for the QCB's infrastructure related to wired and wireless network devices, application systems, communication devices, servers, and their connections.
11- Any other tasks and duties assigned to the department within its scope of responsibility.
