The PR Department primarily focuses on the following tasks and responsibilities: 


1-       Implementing laws, regulations, policies, and bylaws related to public relations at QBC.

2-      Identifying and developing the strategy and objectives of the PR Department according to QCB's strategic plan.

3-      Handling government relations activities for employees such as arranging visas, residencies, and exit permits for non-Qatari employees and their families. 

4-      Issuing visas for official delegations and QCB visitors.

5-      Organizing cultural, social, and sports activities for the employees and ove​rseeing celebrations hosted or participated in by QCB.

6-      Organizing conferences and seminars hosted by the QCB, and preparing the necessary budget; in coordination with the relevant departments and competent authorities in Qatar.

7-      Following up on matters and procedures related to the employees at Ministries and other entities and overseeing the QCB's affairs and transactions with third parties. 

8-      Arranging travel, hospitality, and accommodation for newly appointed employees, guests, visiting and departing delegations, in coordination with the relevant departments​. 

9-      Strengthening ties between the employees internally by keeping up with their social news and providing appropriate services for them.

10-    Proposing the annual work plan for the activities that the Department will implement during the next year and any modifications to this plan during the year. 

11-    Any other tasks and duties assigned to the Department within its scope of responsibility.
