H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Khalid bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al-Thani
Deputy Governor of the Qatar Central Bank
H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Khalid bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al-Thani is the Deputy Governor of the Qatar Central Bank. He also holds the following positions:
1- Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatar Central Securities Depository Company.
2- Vice-Chairman of the National Anti-Money Laundering & Terrorism Financing Committee.
3- Member of the Board of Directors of Wadi Al-Sail Holding Company.
4- Member of the Executive Committee of the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation (IILM).
5- Member of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Payments Company.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Khalid Al-Thani has over 12 years of experience in the field of credit information systems, having served as Executive Vice President of Qatar Credit Bureau. He also holds an MSc in Finance from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor in Finance from Qatar University.
